The fascia is a thin but strong layer of connective tissue that surrounds our organs, muscles, joints, nerves and blood vessels.  This web of connective tissue is where emotions and energy gets trapped/stored when they aren’t able to be metabolized and processed in the body. This happens when we to go through a traumatic experience and the body isn’t able to processed those emotions due to lack of internal resources. These unprocessed emotions and energy gets tangled in the facia and causes restriction in our blood flow, nerve conductivity, lymph and our body chi (energy). This can lead to exhaustion, inflammation, chronic pain and improper functioning of the immune system. 

Myofascial release is a noninvasive manipulation technique that helps release the fascia. This  helps release stress and tension in the body, as well as pain, inflammation, and release stagnant energy and emotions. The techniques brings together bodywork, energy medicine, intuition and spiritual healing to support the restoration of the body and being it to a state of wholeness. By effectively alleviating tissue congestion and organ constriction, myofascial release  improves the vital flows of energy, blood, lymph and nerves system. Myofascial release can also release emotional and energetic tension which could be causing unnecessary stress on your body. As a result, myofascial release assists in preventing the progression of chronic diseases whilst improving the body’s ability to self-repair and re-balance. My approach is a unique one as I combine my unique skills as a medical intuitive and emotional empath and communicate with the body and those stored energy to get to the root cause of a physical, emotional, spiritual and energetic imbalance.

During a session you might or might not experience an emotional release and after a session you can experience an energetic detox. It is important to give yourself time to process these emotions and energy that are being release and be gentle with yourself.  I provide a safe, gentle, and compassionate environment in which I hold space and facilitate the release of these suppressed emotions and energy to be expressed and release with love and ease.  Give yourself permission to break free from all the emotional baggage and behavior patterns that are longer serving you.

Yes, you can! We offer pre and post natal care as a service. It’s really popular with both new mothers and their babies. Moms feel more relaxed and comfortable, and babies enjoy having more space to move around. Also, babies love it when their mom is happy and healthy. The initial visit for both manual myofascial release and IASTM (with tool) is $200 and takes 90min. Follow ups for manual myofascial release is $145 for 60min, for IASTM 60min $145 and $70 extra for increments of 30min, Max 2hrs. If you have insurance that covers chiropractic care I can provide you with a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. 

I work on a massage table. Please wear comfortable clothes like yoga pants or workout clothes that are easy to move in and roll. If you are booking an IASTM session please bring a tank top and shorts.

Everyone’s journey is unique and at different stages. The first visit lasts about 90 minutes. Then, there will be a processing time of 24-72 hours where you will be aware of any emotions, thoughts, pain, or tenderness. Depending on how your body reacts, you may schedule a follow-up appointment within a week and continue to book regularly based on your schedule.

What To Expect From Our Session

I create a safe and caring space where you can release any stuck or stored emotions and energy that are ready to be release. Leaving you feeling lighter, calmer and with a sense or clarity. People respond differently to a myofascial release session. You may feel different emotions during and after a session as well as a release through crying, burping, yawning and laughing. Soreness, muscle twitching and spasm are also a common response during a myofascial release session. Processing time after a session is important to help us integrate the release and healing. Aside from myofascial release, I might use other non invasise gentle manual manipulations, energy medicine and crystal healing. I might also advise homeopathy, herbs, and other nutritional recommendations as needed.
